So this is a one time deal. Never again will I post any drinking pictures…unless I have wine in front of me.

Anyway, I wanted to share with tumblr a picture of an authentic Austrian meal I ate while in Vienna. That massive softball shaped thing on my plate is a bread dumpling. Probably the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. Next to it is a shine of pork. I hardly made a dent in that meal. I thought I was going to go into cardiac arrest.

Unfortunately, ‘tis not really very classy, as I am pounding back an Ottakringer. At least it was only half a pint, right?!

And yes, the guy behind me is wearing a lederhosen.

Here is another picture I took on my trip! This is the Graben, a large pedestrian shopping street, in Vienna, Austria. That white and gold statue is some sort of Black Plague memorial. It’s actually really weird up close.
